Goals

In the future we would like to create an area Blind Golfer's Association.

In order to accomplish this, we may need to organize this event at one central point first, then, as participation increases, we'll need to expand to other courses and driving ranges in the Clearfield and Jefferson counties area. We also need to find coaches and aides. Coaches of course would need to be able to help golfers, beginners and advanced, with form, addressing the ball, swing, and of course, safety. The aides wouldn't need to be coaches or really know much about golfing at all, just willing to help the blind and visually impaired golfer to aim in the right direction and then find that ball!

Last summer, there was news that another blind golfer hit a hole-in-one! We aren't going to go out with the intent of winning prizes. We are going out with the purpose of having fun, fellowshipping, enjoying the outdoors, and if anyone gets a hole-in-one, then maybe ... just maybe ... we'll celebrate just a teeny-tiny bit!!
